There's an open source version of Wordle called Reactle. React, Typescript, and Tailwind were used to make it. You must guess a five-letter word using color clues in six tries or less. Every 24 hours, the game starts over with a new target word, and it keeps track of how many times you've won.
Whether you've played Wordle before or not, the next part is easy: just think of a five-letter word. Once you've guessed a correct word, some of the letters may be highlighted in yellow or green. The yellow colour indicates that the letter is part of the word in that section, but it isn't where it should be. Green means that the letter is in the right place. If a letter's box didn't change color, it wasn't part of the word at all.
There are different ways to play Reactle. One of the most common is starting a word with many vowels. The other is starting a word with many consonants. If you don't get the word right in six tries or less, the answer will be shown as soon as the game is over. Just like Wordle, a new Reactle puzzle will be available the next day, whether you solve it or not. Have fun!
