If you're a movie buff, you may be able to tell which one is playing on TV right now just by looking at a frame. Are you one of those? If you do, welcome to Flickle! The goal of this game is to identify the film from a series of brief excerpts. You can't stop and look more closely, so you'll have to make guesses as you go. So what is the movie?
To guess the day's movie, just enter the title. If you can't determine the movie's name, Flickle adds extra seconds so you can see more scenes. The game is similar to the music-guessing game Heardle in that it plays one second of a song at a time until the user guesses the song correctly. Flickle is a different guessing game than Framed, another film guessing game that shows movie stills instead, with fewer obscure ones appearing as the guesses go.
Watch the clip and try to guess the day's movie. Start typing to see what you can do.
Still not sure? With skips and wrong guesses, you can get up to five more clips.
Find the answer with as few tries as possible and share your score!
You have six chances per day. This game is great for movie buffs who love Wordle and want to learn more about movies. It's already taking over the internet. Have fun and good luck!
