Scholardle

Scholardle is a new spin-off of the word game Wordle, in which players have six chances each day to guess a five-letter word. You may want to try Scholardle if you find Wordle too easy. Scholardle is an enhanced version of this game that is both harder and more difficult.

In Scholardle, players also have to figure out a new five-letter word every day. However, each word is a scholarly word, which adds a twist. As a result, each word is part of a list of the most frequently occurring words within Writefull's database of scientific texts. Other than that, it functions exactly like Wordle, and while answers are unlikely to be words like "table" and "house," they can still be used to narrow down the final answer.

Scholardle uses a lot of jargon and words that most people don't know, so it's hard to try. It will definitely test how smart you are by seeing how well you know academic words and the like. Because these words aren't as common as the everyday words used in Wordle, Scholardle adds a challenge to the game, and no one likes a challenge more than a researcher.
