What is WordHurdle?

Wordle 2 is now called Word Hurdle. It is a word-guessing game where players have six chances to guess a six-letter word. Just like almost every other Wordle variation, Word Hurdle is still based on guessing a five-letter word. In this game, players have to guess a six-letter word in six tries or less. Every day, two new words are given out.

There are already harder versions of Wordle. Some of the most popular ones, like Quordle and Octordle, have you solve more than one puzzle at once. There are six trials instead of five in the new Word Hurdle, which is exactly what you'd expect. For some reason, the correct letters are highlighted in blue instead of green.

How to play WordHurdle

Here's how to play Word Hurdle, in case you've never heard of it and don't know what all the fuss is about.

• Players start by typing in a word with six letters.
• Each letter in your guessed word changes depending on whether it's in the answer.
• If a letter turns blue, it means that it is in the right place.
• But if a letter turns yellow, it means that it belongs to the word but is in the wrong place.
• When a letter is gray, it doesn't show up in the answer.
• Players have six chances to figure out the mystery word by using the clues.
