If Wordle is too easy for you, Absurdle may be a better alternative. Basically, you need to guess a five-letter word, but in this case, the system doesn't want the user to win, so it changes the word each time. There are no time limits, and you can play for as long as you like without losing until you guess the correct word.
When you start the game, the system doesn't already have a mystery word ready to go. Instead, it chooses the mystery word based on the words you guess. Absurdle's internal word list shrinks with each word you enter, starting with over 2,000 possible words.
To achieve this, you must force the game to use your chosen word. A blank screen awaits you. Your first few words will almost certainly be totally grey because the system is fighting against you. A quick and easy way to narrow down the list of possible words quickly is to use two words right at the start that share no letters in common. So, all the words that have those gray letters in the first two words will be crossed out.
There is a tip for the lazy players: if you don't want to guess on your own, click on the random guess button at the bottom-right of the virtual keyboard to have the system select five-letter words for your rows at random.
Absurdle changes the word each time you fail to guess, depending on which of the green or yellow words you did guess. And the best part? You can keep guessing the whole day. Have fun!
