Evil Wurdle is a copy of the popular game WORDLE, but it uses different words. While you're playing, open the JavaScript console to look for possible solutions. Most different versions use the same set of solutions as Wordle. Evil Wurdle uses the dictionary's other, less common words. But don't worry if you haven't heard of ymolt or aalii.
If you desire, Evil Wurdle will provide hints. Evil Wurdle will show words that might be solutions in the Javascript console. At first, this doesn't help much, but after a few guesses, you'll be able to narrow down the number of possible answers. The trick is to come up with words that tell you which of the remaining words is the answer. Can you narrow down 15 words with two guesses?
Websites can send messages to developers via the Javascript console. Type Command-Option-J into Chrome on a Mac to open the console. Press Command-Option-C in Safari. When you open it on this page, you'll see that Reddit is offering a job.
It's a bit like Wordle, but with weird words, if you don't open the console. There won't be any clues. Evil Wurdle is easy to learn, fun to play, and deliciously weird. Have fun!
