Jewdle is a game that is similar to Wordle but is more specific to Jewish culture. It's for Jewish people who want to guess six-letter words from well-known alphabets in this situation. Some of these are English, Hebrew, Yiddish, Aramaic, and other languages. Also, the words are usually tied to a particular culture, like holidays, slang, or even prayers. As long as it's more Jewish-related, it's fair game.
In Wordle, players have to use codebreaker logic to guess a five-letter word. In Jewdle, players have to guess six-letter Jewish words, which makes the game harder. Wordle's rules still apply to the colored-tiles hint. When the right letter is put in the right place, in this case for the right word, the tile turns green. If the letter belongs to the word but is put in the wrong place, the tile turns yellow. If the letter doesn't show up at all in the word, the tile turns gray.
The word list was compiled by the Shalom team, which includes many dedicated Wordle players. Another thing that makes Jewdle stand out is that once the puzzle is solved, the user can look up the meaning of the completed word.
