As a Taylor Swift fan, you can show off your song-guessing skills in Swiftle by listening to snippets of songs. Each audio clip may last from one to five seconds and can be randomly selected from any part of the song. If you make an incorrect guess, you get to listen to a few extra seconds of the song so you can get closer to finding the answer.
If you are familiar with Wordle or Heardle, Swiftle will be easy for you. The game is based on the guesswork principle. You have six chances to guess the right Taylor Swift song. A one-second clip of Taylor Swift's song will be played when you press the round play button at the top. Make sure you listen carefully. If you knew what song it was after hearing the clip, good for you. You're a Swiftie for sure! Now type the name of the song in the box below and click Enter. When you don't remember the full name of a song, just type the word. A drop-down box will display the full name of the song.
Don't worry if you can't figure out the song. You have five more chances. Please feel free to guess if you're not sure. Even if you make a mistake, you can try again five more times. A second of the song will be added for each incorrect answer. You could also choose to skip, but would a true Swiftie do that?
Each incorrect estimate will be highlighted in red. The song will be marked yellow if your guess is wrong and the song is from the same Taylor Swift album. Hopefully, this will point you in the right direction. If you got the correct answer, it will be highlighted in green.
You will also see a stats screen with information about the upcoming Swiftie Challenge. There's also a mode in which you can play past puzzles if you missed them, and a hard mode that can be accessed through settings. Click on the Calendar icon at the top of the screen and select the date for the previous Swiftles.
Swiftle is a lot like BTS Heardle and One Direction Heardle in that it takes a lot from Wordle and Heardle, but more from Heardle than from Wordle. The goal is still to figure out the song with as few guesses as possible. But that's the only thing they have in common.
While Heardle adds a twist to Wordle by asking the player to guess a song in as few attempts as possible, Swiftle adds an additional twist by asking the player to guess Taylor Swift's song in six attempts. Swiftle provides daily challenges based on every Taylor Swift song in its database. Enjoy!
