Citydle is a daily guessing game about cities that is similar to Wordle. Most cities can be guessed. Most of the answers are from big cities or world capitals.
Pick a city first in Citydle. If your answer turns gray, it means you were wrong about the country and continent. If your guess turns orange, you know you were right about the continent but wrong about the country. If your answer turns yellow, you picked the right country but the wrong city. A correct guess is one that turns green.
In this case, Ankara is not the right answer because it is neither in the right country nor on the right continent. The right city is not in Asia.
Now that the guess is orange, the continent is right, but the country is still wrong. So the right city is in North America, but not in Canada.
Now the country is right, but the city is still wrong. The direction tells you where to look next.
Your guess is correct!
Globle is similar to Citydle, but it uses an interactive map of the world to show how close your answer is to the correct country for that day. Airportle is a version of Wordle in which only three-letter airport codes are used (SYD for Sydney, MEL for Melbourne, or LHR for London Heathrow, for example).
