DeWordle is like Wordle but backwards. You guess the colors of the squares to get words back. By using the DeWordle tool, players can narrow down the number of possible answers.
DeWordle can be played as a game. Make up patterns, tap them in using the squares with dots, and see how few rows you need to get to just one word left. But be careful, because it's also possible to enter a set of patterns that don't match any answers. Or, go the other way and see how many of the 242 possible patterns you can add without getting a single answer.
Tell us how you made your Wordle! Paste in your Wordle diagram, and then click the pencil icon below each line to type in the word you used there. Click the "Share" button below the board to copy a diagram or link to your clipboard.
Find out what your friend thought the answer was! Paste in their Wordle diagram, then click the pencil below the answer row and type in the day's word. DeWordle will tell you every word that could have been used in each row. If you can't enter the day's word into DeWordle, your friend's diagram is a fake!
Make up fake (but valid) Wordle diagrams! Click the pencil below the answer row to enter the word of the day. Then, add the diagram rows you want by tapping the squares with dots to change their color and then tapping the "+" to add that row to the board. Your diagram is correct as long as DeWordle doesn't say "Matches 0 answers" below the answer row. Have fun!
